Springboard Pediatric Therapy was first established 15 years ago, in Morristown NJ, serving children and their families in need of occupational therapy for functional rehabilitation, sensory processing disorders, and other learning and developmental disabilities.

 

The recent slowdown in service necessary to flatten and reduce the COVID 19 curve created opportunities for Springboard to bring on and offer a more comprehensive complement of therapy services including physical therapy, and speech therapy.  

 

As our understanding of the science surrounding the transmission and suppression of COVID 19 has become established we have invested heavily in making the clinic space safe for the delivery of direct in-person service.

 

Our clinic space includes 3500 square feet which can be divided into 4 individualized therapy gyms and 8 separate treatment spaces. Self-containment or compartmentalization of these spaces facilitates deep cleaning and is another layer of defense and further reduces risk. Masking and other therapist personal protective equipment, temperature checks, hand washing, cleaning of equipment and treatment spaces has been established. Air filtration systems are being evaluated. Tele-health options are also available to offer more flexible delivery of services.

 

We have agreements with most major insurance providers and we can let all patients know their benefit levels with a quick call to our office.  Scholarships for sliding scale are available through the Community Foundation of NJ to assist families with financial costs who may not have insurance coverage.
