Emily graduated from Loyola University Maryland with her M.S. in Speech Language Hearing Sciences and with her B.A. in Speech Language Hearing sciences from the same university.
Emily has experience working in a variety of settings including early intervention, private practice, acute inpatient care, and in private schools. While she has experience working with clients of all ages, she is passionate about working with children and their families. In 2022, Emily joined the Springboard Pediatric Therapy team.
She has experience working with a variety of diagnoses including autism, ADHD, pervasive developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
Emily has experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and she has experience with numerous systems and devices including LAMP and Proloquo2Go. She strongly believes that everyone's words matter and she works hard to get each child to grow to their fullest potential. Emily is also certified in Natural Language Acquisition.
Emily is licensed in the state of New Jersey and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). When she is not at Springboard Therapy, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and dog, reading, caring for her house plants, working on her fitness goals, and baking cookies.
