Michelle Linfante | Occupational Therapist



Michelle graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2002 with a BS in Occupational Therapy. She began her career in a pediatric sensory based clinic that provided school and clinic based services. A few years later she expanded her knowledge into birth to three year old population and school age children in the home based setting.


Michelle has extensive experience in working with children on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. She worked for about a year and a half in per diem subacute care on weekends and holidays.

In 2013 Michelle completed her Masters Degree in Complementary Alternative Medicine from the American College of Health Sciences. Besides her 20 years of experience in these settings, she has had numerous training in Sensory Integration techniques and

continues to take part in continuing education. In addition, she has training in programs such as Wilbargers Brushing Protocol, Interactive Metronome, the SOS Approach to Feeding, and Zones of Regulation.


Michelle has a certificate Advanced Brain Technology’s Listening Program and is NBCOT certified. Her approach is to address the “whole” child while promoting skill development and independence for positive treatment outcomes. She feels every child’s therapy should be individualized with family communication throughout to ensure lasting progress.
